Ingredients:
- 4 oz bitter sweet chocolate
- 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 1 stick of butter
- 1½ cups sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 large eggs
- ¾ cup flour
- ½ tsp salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- butter an 8×8” glass pan. line the pan with parchment paper.
- Break chocolate to small pieces. put in a microwavable medium bowl.
- Melt slowly in microwave the chocolate with the butter (1 min in 50% power, mix, continue to run the microwave for 30 secs interval on 50% & mix. Repeat until all chocolate pieces have melted)
- mix into the batter the sugar and the vanilla.
- When chocolate mixture is cool enough so that eggs do not “cook” when you add them, add the eggs to the mixture one at a time. Make sure to mix well each egg
- mix flour and salt together. Fold gently into the batter. Do not over mix.
- carefully pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes (probably 40 minutes in a “normal” oven).
