I love figuring out  how to do stuff, but knowing I already figured something only a couple of months ago, went through some mind erasing phenomenon, and have to go through it again, just sucks!

So here is the link to the online service:

www.freepdfconvert.com

Now, if only I had a way to remember I have entered this info into my blog next time I need it.

It has been a couple of months since I last updated this page, and during this time I discovered that Open Office can not open those files either. Oh, the humanity!

Oh, the pain, the humanity…

After struggling with permissions issues, and some design issues, my CMS is getting closer to the look and feel of the original site.

My biggest challenge right now is on the Figures page. I  really want the Java Script to do what it is told, and I need to clean the code from some machine generated crap.

I am working on a WordPress CMS site. It would be lovely I am sure…

Here are a list of links I am working with:

There are a few ad campaigns geared toward teenagers about how information posted online is there forever,  and can be seen by everybody.

I really liked these two posted on YouTube Think Before You Post  & Everyone Knows Your Name

And for the record, I really did think before I posted this one….

Google Explaination on what are Sitelinks:

The links shown below some sites in our search results, called sitelinks, are meant to help users navigate your site. Our systems analyze the link structure of your site to find shortcuts that will save users time and allow them to quickly find the information they’re looking for.

We only show sitelinks for results when we think they’ll be useful to the user. If the structure of your site doesn’t allow our algorithms to find good sitelinks, or we don’t think that the sitelinks for your site are relevant for the user’s query, we won’t show them.

As to what sites actually get automatically Sitelinked, the theories are that the site has to have enough traffic, and that the navigation menu is Google friendly.
