Original recipe from Aviv’s grandma.
Cake Ingredients:
4 cups of greek yogurt & sour cream (~2 c + 2 c)
4 eggs
1 cup baker’s sugar (super-fine granulated white sugar)
1/4 cup cornflour
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp lemon zest
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Butter cake 9″ springform pan (optional if using silicone springform)
- Wrap bottom of pan in aluminum foil to avoid cake mix dripping on oven bottom
- mix ingredients well, and pour into pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 400°F.
- DO NOT OPEN OVEN. Lower heat to 325°F and bake for 40 minutes more.
