Recipe: Goat Cheese filled Dates

Just remember that there is no such thing as too much black pepper…

Ingredients:

  • 24 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/4 lb fresh Goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoon parsley
  • (~1-2 teaspoon) fresh ground black pepper
  • dried cranberries/apricots cut into strips/pecan nuts

Method

  • Mix goat cheese with parsley and fresh ground black pepper
  • fill a small container with a little water
  • wet your hands and form 24 small cheese balls.
  • place a cheese ball inside each date and squeeze to partially close the date.
  • place a few cranberries or apricot strips on top of the filled dates.
  • grind a lot of pepper on top and serve.
