Preheat oven to 400ºF. Line 9×13 with parchment paper
Fruit “preserve”:
Fresh Fruits cut to small bits [At least 3 cups fresh fruits + 1.5 cup sugar (ratio 2:1)]

1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp lemon juice
Microwave until fruits are well cooked and sugar dissolved. Make sure that it does not overflow while cooking.
When fruits are cooked mix well cornstarch and lemon
Make squares:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 c rolled oats
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp fresh nutmeg
1 c butter, softened
1 c packed brown sugar
1 c chopped toasted pecans
Cream butter and sugar
Add dry ingredients. Mix until blended. Add pecans.
measure about 1.5 cups of mixture and set aside.
using your fingers press remaining mixture to bottom of pan
spread cooked fruit.
crumble the rest of the mixture on top
bake for 30 mins
