I make 6 drumsticks, but I think you can double the chicken amount and leave the marinade quantities as is. I end up pouring a lot of liquids at the end.
Ingredients:
6 chicken drumsticks (or more chicken parts)
Marinade
¼ cup honey
¼ cup packed dark brown sugar
¼ cup soy sauce (I use Kikkoman reduced sodium soy)
¼ cup balsamic vinegar (Costco)
½ tsp minced garlic (TJ)/3-4 whole garlic cloves
1 medium onion chopped
a dash of chilli powder
a little of ground black pepper and paprika
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Mix the marinade.
- Place chicken in a deep baking dish (I use a round 4 inch deep).
- Pour Marinade on Chicken and cover.
- Place covered dish in preheated oven.
- Bake for 10 minutes in 400°F.
- Bake for 40 minutes in 350°F.
- Remove cover and bake for 10 minutes in 350°F.
